The solution for painful cracks

Cracks occur most frequently on hands, fingers and feet. These are small cracks that develop because very dry skin cracks. They can develop into bleeding wounds.

Cause of cracks:

• They occur mainly in winter, due to dry air indoors and outdoors. The air indoors becomes drier due to heating.
• Your skin can also dry out from contact with water or cleaning agents, for example when washing dishes.
• When your skin is exposed to extra pressure and friction, calluses form on the areas that experience the most pressure. This localized thickening is very dry and therefore often leads to cracks.
• Especially people with a predisposition for hand eczema or people with psoriasis is sensitive to it.

This is how you treat and prevent cracks

People with cracks on their fingers who also do a lot of work with their hands know that cracks heal very slowly. Moreover, the problem with cracks on the finger is that they hardly get a chance to heal: one movement of the finger can be enough to make the crack burst open again. Herome Cure for Chapped Skin is a rich, intensive cream that allows your hands to repair overnight.

NB:

Do not use creams containing mineral oils such as paraffinum and Vaseline. These clog the pores by forming a layer on your skin. In the long run, your skin will dry out even more.
